I love cushions.
My husband tells me off for the amount of cushions we have, but I just can't stop!
These are just some of the cushions I have at home, a mixture of homemade, Monsoon, H&M Home and The Linen Works. I can spend hour upon hour searching for cushions, and I can happily spend a ridiculous amount of money if I fall in love. However, if you're looking for something fashionable and reasonably priced I would head to H&M Home, they are great and they have a range of designs. I've bought a fair amount of cushions from their, they last and come in various sizes.
If your like me and like to splurge or have the money and are looking for good quality cushions that are also beautiful - head to Anthropologie. I love there stores, there items are so creatively displayed and I adore everything, from the clothes to the jewellery to the home accessories. Here are a few of my current favourite cushions that are stocked online (prices range from £58.00 - £98.00).
Beautiful aren't they! They have a few more on their website so make sure you go have a peek.
Another option, if you have time, is to browse through notonthehighstreet. They have pages and pages (119 to date) worth of cushions, some of which can be personalised (a perfect wedding gift or newborn baby gift).
And for those of you who are feeling a little creative, go spend some time wandering around fabric shops searching for the perfect fabric to make your perfect cushion. I love fabric shops, and often by 0.5m of random fabrics, just because I have to have it (and 0.5 is enough to make a 40x40cm envelope cushion). To the left are some of my more recent projects, the fabric's are from a mixture of places, from Brixton to Liberty's.
(If you ever get the chance, head into London Town and into Liberty's. Their fabric section is to die for, I have fallen in love with many a liberty fabric and have a growing pile at home for future 'projects'.)
I have no doubt I will be sharing my future cushion projects with you, until then, have fun shopping/making!
