Two months after Judah Wild was born, we eventually finished his room! I know, it's not very organised of me, but before he was born I had a few hospital visits for doing too much whilst I was preggers and was under strict instruction to not overdo it. So now he's here, we know his personality and had a little money to sort his room - we finished it off and we love it! So does Judah, which is most important! The only thing left is the carpet, but I want to do the whole house so that's expense for another time..(there's always one more thing to do hey?!)
Most bits we have purchased from The Modern Nursery and This Modern Life - they both stock beautiful pieces for babies rooms, however, I found it near impossible to find a nice mobile for his room, that would actually entertain him and not be to bright or tacky - so after some searching on Pinterest I decided to make my own. It was actually so easy, wool and pom poms and voila! I used the colours him room is based around and included black to bring some contrast so he can see it better, he now lays there for a while watching it spin and is somewhat entertained - which is great when I want a sip of my coffee, to put away his clothes or I need a toilet break!
Here are some extra little snippets from his room! Notice the stuff we try to hide hidden under his cot - oops! It was too much effort to get it out once I realised so just ignore that little bit ok!?
I have to say, I think my favourite item in the whole room is the little elephant sticker - it's just so sweet and I can imagine him when he's a little older talking to him and his baby language! It's from Stick & Stay - they have lots of different animals, all of which I would love! But one at a time as they're not the cheapest thing on the market...
So there we go, it's taken a while but I love it! Judah now sleeps in there during the day for his naps, which is great as I don't want him to be overwhelmed at a new space when we move him in there for nights..
Lots more to share with you guys over the next few weeks, lots of clothes and shots to show you and also a He's Got This story..
As always, thanks for supporting us!
